A family grows through adoption
It is our sincere hope our forever family reports can help save children and build families. We have a follow up on a family that went from no kids at home to four in just three years. This is the Burnett family.

Keith and Katherine Burnett get a few stolen moments alone on the deck, but they're happy it's usually more like this... four children between one year old and eleven.
Katherine was a single mom who had raised a son on her own. After they married just five years ago, Keith and Katherine quickly opened their home and their hearts. They saw our report about Chris and AJ, brothers who wanted to find a forever family
A year later in a Hamilton County courtroom they officially became a family.
And now to the kids, it's like it's always been this way. Last year they adopted a newborn girl, Carrington and they are in the process of adopting a little boy. In every sense of the word a real family with real challenges.
And they are giving their children what they need, security and love and family movie nights. The boys are getting to explore sports and hobbies. Chris can express his emotions well and AJ likes to use art and the written word.
The family is whole and happy a forever family. The boys are confident they are loved, but most of the time, Chris says he and AJ don't even think about being adopted.
The Burnetts are part of a support group for foster and adoptive parents. Email
