Two Arizona teens are being treated for burns after before being struck by lightning Wednesday.

Javier Tapia, 13, and his friend Josiah had been skateboarding at a park and were walking home when a thunderstorm hit.

Security camera near the park captured the moment a lightning bolt came crashing down striking the boys.

Tapia described seeing his friend in the air before hitting the ground and landing on his head.

Josiah's parents say it's a miracle he's alive.

Krista Weidman, Josiah's mother, "The skateboard triggered the electricity to hit, which caused it to bounce off the skateboard and cause my son to fly, drop him on his head and then flip him again."

Josiah is alert and undergoing tests.

Both boys are expected to recover.
