Late day storms moving in
Good Wednesday. A cold front moving through today will bring some weather changes in. This morning we have clouds, and a few spotty showers around the area. As the front slides through this afternoon it will bring in scattered thunderstorms. There is a marginal risk for some of those storms to become severe. While tornadoes don't appear to be a threat, small hail and damaging winds are a possibility. The storms will start moving in at about 4pm eastern, and a few of them may linger into late tonight. The high will only reach about 77 today.
Skies will clear and the humidity will drop Thursday and Friday. Highs will be near 80 degrees.
Saturday the heat and humidity will begin to ramp back up. Skies will become cloudy through the day, but no rain. The high will reach 86.
Father's Day will be a muggy one. We will be in the mid 80s, and may see a few late day storms.
Next week we will settle into a pattern of scattered showers and storms with highs in the low to mid 80s.
